My name is Alyssa, I’m a UX Designer living in Toronto.

TODAY

I'm a UX Designer who thrives at the intersection of creativity and human connection-whether collaborating across diverse teams or translating complex user needs into elegant solutions. When I’m offline, I’m most likely painting art, building LEGO, and playing fetch with my cats! I also generate my creativity by travelling and exploring. My trips to more than 20 countries worldwide motivated me to be more empathetic to people and their cultures. I'm also fluent in French.

CHILDHOOD

When I was younger, I received a brand-new Nintendo Wii that my parents insisted I set up alone. Faced with a tangle of unfamiliar cables and components, confusion quickly set in. Hours later with tears and frustration, I conquered the giant user manual and got my console working. That frustrating task sparked a question that would shape my future: "Why should technology be this difficult?"Today, I've transformed that childhood frustration into purpose. I'm driven to find and solve problems that make technology both accessible and enjoyable for everyone.

GOAL

I bring a distinctive perspective to design that aims to accomplish two things: infuse the design process with creativity and enjoyment, while also ensuring technology integrates effortlessly into our daily lives to meet our real-world needs.
